TDM extruder – a highly efficient solution for the production of hollow core floor slabs
In modern construction, speed, precision and reliability play a key role. This is especially important in the production of precast concrete elements, where even a small deviation can have serious consequences. This is where the extruder for the production of hollow core floor slabs developed by TDM comes to the fore. This equipment does not just meet modern requirements – it sets new quality standards in its industry.
Flexibility for different tasks
TDM floor slab extruders are designed to be as versatile as possible. They are capable of producing slabs of various heights – from 120 to 600 mm – and are suitable for track widths of 1200, 1500 and 2400 mm. This makes it possible to produce products for facilities of all sizes, from private homes to large-scale industrial buildings.
The modular design of the extruder makes it easy to adapt to specific applications. The basic set consists of a power unit, hopper and compaction module. Additionally, the equipment can be configured to work with different fire resistance classes, as well as adapted for laying slabs on top of an insulation layer. All of this makes the TDM hollow core slab extruder particularly valuable for manufacturers focused on a diverse range of products.
The model range: from versatility to productivity
TDM offers three main extruder series, each optimized for specific operating conditions:
-
The S series is the flagship development, aimed at large-scale production. It is equipped with an 11-inch touch screen, machine learning functions as well as a system for automatically adapting the compaction intensity to the properties of the concrete. The maximum molding speed is up to 3 m/min.
-
The N-Series is the reliable solution for medium-sized companies. While retaining key technologies (independent drives, reciprocating compaction), it delivers outputs of up to 2.2 m/min and supports product heights of up to 500 mm.
-
The L-Series is a compact and economical model. It features a minimum product height of 80 mm and molding speeds of up to 1.8 m/min. Ideal for the production of thin slabs and partition walls.
Design features
Each TDM hollow core slab extruder is equipped with modern technical solutions aimed at increasing reliability and ease of use. Independent screw drive provides more precise work, especially when using stiff concrete mixtures. The new vibrating rail with high frequency and uniform vibration amplitude guarantees quality compaction of the mix across the entire width of the product.
The ergonomics are well thought out. Service platforms with ladders provide safe access to the main components. The interface is intuitive: all systems can be started with a single click, and all process parameters are displayed on the screen and easily readable by the operator.
The hopper has a capacity of 1.5 m³ (expandable up to 3 m³) and allows easy refilling of the mix. The power supply is standard 3P + PE 400 V, 50/60 Hz. At the same time, the extruder design itself is as reliable as possible: there are no cardan shafts and gearboxes, which minimizes the risk of breakdowns and reduces the cost of maintenance.
Wear resistance and reliability
In the manufacture of TDM extruders are used exclusively wear-resistant materials: both for the concrete receiver and for molding elements. This ensures a long service life of the equipment even under intensive use. The armor is adjusted externally, in three planes, which simplifies adjustment and increases forming accuracy.
In addition, the entire construction is designed so that the equipment moves precisely on the guide rails, the extruder track exceeds the width of the plate by only 60 mm. This means no wasted floor space and a compact production line.
Application possibilities and geography of supply
TDM extruders are used in dozens of countries around the world. The main products are hollow core floor slabs, but thanks to the universal UniMould platform the equipment is also suitable for the production of beams, piles, lintels and even thin solid slabs. It is the hollow core slab extruder that allows you to combine speed, precision and economy in one solution. The machine can easily handle tasks that previously required more complex and expensive systems.
