Extruder method of production of hollow core floor slabs is based on the use of special machines – extruders. This method allows to cast slabs of different heights and widths with high precision and quality.

Working principle of the extruder

The extruder for hollow core slabs, passes the concrete mixture through the compaction group with the help of screws under high pressure. As a result, the concrete is compacted and placed on the molding track in the desired shape. Extruder design

TDM extruders are equipped with independent screw drives to maximize ease of operation and provide exceptional concrete compaction. A high-frequency vibrating rail ensures uniform compaction, and an intuitive interface makes it easy for the operator. The extruder’s compaction group is mounted on a rigid frame with four wheels and includes motors, rotating augers and bushings. The concrete hopper can have a capacity from 1.5 m³ to 3.0 m³, depending on production needs. TDM extruders also utilize wear-resistant materials for all key components, which greatly extends their service life and reduces maintenance costs.
