Extruder method of production of floor slabs: Modern Slab Production
Extruder method of production of hollow core floor slabs is based on the use of special machines – extruders. This method allows to cast slabs of different heights and widths with high precision and quality.
Working principle of the extruder
The extruder for hollow core slabs, passes the concrete mixture through the compaction group with the help of screws under high pressure. As a result, the concrete is compacted and placed on the molding track in the desired shape. The main parameters of the extruder are automatically adjusted depending on the properties of the concrete, which ensures consistent product quality.
TDM extruder models for extruder method of production of hollow core slabs
TDM offers three main extruder models:
- S Series:
- Maximum product height: 600 mm
- Maximum molding speed: 3.0 m/minute
- Touch screen 11″
- N Series:
- Maximum product height: 500 mm
- Maximum molding speed: 2.2 m/minute
- Touch screen 8″
- L Series:
- Maximum product height: 320 mm
- Maximum molding speed: 1.8 m/minute
- Monochrome screen 8″
All models are built on a modular principle, which simplifies maintenance and allows flexible adaptation to different production needs.
Advantages of extruder method
- High productivity: The molding speed reaches up to 3.5m/min, which can significantly increase the production volume.
- Precision and quality: Automatic adjustment of parameters ensures high quality of the final product.
- Versatility: It is possible to produce slabs of different heights and widths as well as other concrete products such as piles, beams, supports and lintels.
- Reliable and easy to operate: TDM extruders are characterized by high reliability, easy operation and maintenance, making them ideal for use in various environments.
Extruder design
TDM extruders are equipped with independent screw drives to maximize ease of operation and provide exceptional concrete compaction. A high-frequency vibrating rail ensures uniform compaction, and an intuitive interface makes it easy for the operator. The extruder’s compaction group is mounted on a rigid frame with four wheels and includes motors, rotating augers and bushings. The concrete hopper can have a capacity from 1.5 m³ to 3.0 m³, depending on production needs. TDM extruders also utilize wear-resistant materials for all key components, which greatly extends their service life and reduces maintenance costs.
The Hollow core slab extruder is a modern and efficient solution for the construction industry. It offers high productivity, quality and reliability, making it indispensable for companies involved in the production of concrete products.
